WWE.com has released backstage footage of a conversation between CM Punk and his "friend" Paul Heyman. The newly returned superstar tells Heyman that he's not his client, but only his friend. He says Curtis Axel and Brock Lesnar need Heyman's help, so they're his clients.
"Curtis Axel is your client. Curtis Axel needs your help. He needs somebody to
guide him - I get that. There was a time when maybe I needed you to guide me, but
I was never your client, I was your friend. Curtis Axel needs your help; Brock
Lesnar needs your help - they're your clients."
